Arena Health Ltd are committed to a policy of total quality assurance and will ensure that this Quality Policy is understood, accepted, implemented and maintained throughout Arena’s processes, procedures, equipment, facilities and products.

 

It is our objective to supply high quality food supplements through well-controlled quality practises to ensure the products we produce are safe and fit for consumption. We support and encourage the professional and focused development of all our employees.

 

It is the responsibility of all employees to continually look at ways to improve our processes and products in line with appropriate legislation.

 

In order to achieve our objectives we:

- Develop, implement and verify processes that ensure the products we produce are safe and suitable for its intended use.

- Management commitment to build a positive food safety culture and ensure a commitment to providing safe and suitable products via the implementation of appropriate product safety practices - Carefully select and monitor all suppliers through a risk-based supplier management programme. - Ensure the ability to review the manufacturing process with a full traceability system.

- Empower all employees to raise any non-conformities or deviations which are then reviewed to ensure that appropriate corrective and preventative actions can be put into place.

- Ensure that trained and qualified staff are employed in all areas of the company and have appropriate GMP training and are competent to perform their job. With reviewed and renewed training, the knowledge and responsibility for quality is fostered in order to build a positive food safety culture.

- Monitor and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, analysing data for possible improvements. - Manage and control the effectiveness of our systems ensuring compliance to relevant legislation and guidelines using internal audit, dummy recall exercises and management reviews.

- Contribute to maintaining confidence in domestically and internationally traded food products.

- With specific regard to food supplements ensure that consumers have clear and easily understood information to enable them to identify the presence of food allergens, protect their food from contamination, and prevent the growth/survival of foodborne pathogens by storing, handling and preparing food correctly.

 

We therefore commit all employees of Arena Health to the enforcement of our Quality Management System based, EU Good Distribution Practise and EU Good Manufacturing Practise (as amended) as well as the guidelines and regulations established by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, Trading Standards and Codex Alimentarius.

 

HACCP is a legal requirement of all food production businesses in the UK and HACCP risk management is applied to all stages of manufacture and distribution.
